Flint Group, is a private company that develops printing inks, blankets, pressroom chemistry, flexo plates and sleeves, consumables, colourants and digital presses. The digital press bit is Xeikon which Flint acquired in 2015. Flint Group’s total turnover is around €2 billion annually and the group employs around 6500 people altogether.

The company has set up a new division called XSYS. It is run by Dagmar Schmidt, previously president of Flint’s Flexographic division and this new division pulls together Flint’s flexo interests with the prepress part of Xeikon.
