Roland DG shows off at FESPA

Roland expand the VersaUV- S-Series and present some technology demonstrations at the FESPA.

For different reasons we couldn’t cover this year’s Fespa, a show we normally attend since more or less all the vendors of large format digital printers are there. But Roland found out about our dilemma, and reached out to us, offering to a special online walkthrough of what was shown in Berlin. It’s the least we can do, to share it.

The S-Series family grows
The VersaUV S-Series, like competing machines from HP et al all use UV-LED technology to cure the ink. The Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology provides instant UV-light at a narrow band of wavelengths and produces less heat than conventional UV-lamps. This in turn allows for printing on delicate substrates. like thin films.
