HP has announced a new hybrid latex printer, the R1000, which is basically a 1.64m wide version of the R2000, complete with tables and the ability to print to rigid materials. It uses the same recirculating printheads with white ink and a separate overcoat. It can produce up to 57 sqm/hr for outdoor prints.
