Adobe CC 2018 is here

A sort of early Christmas gift perhaps – Adobe has just released the 2018 version of many of the software tools in the Creative Cloud. There are many new features and functions, of course, as well as several brand new components.

Adobe’s chairman and president Shantanu Narayen used the Adobe MAX conference in Las Vegas in October to launch the latest big update to Adobe CC. This year this conference attracted 12,000 designers, the largest crowd gathered so far for Adobe MAX, and it says something about how Adobe dominates the graphic arts market today with its plethora of design applications.

Adobe XD, having been in beta stage for some months now (and reviewed in Spindrift in February this year) makes its début with CC 2018. Adobe XD is a design software for web and mobile, where the letters XD stands for eXperience Design.
