Professor Frank Romano has published in all 63 books to date, and the latest book “History of Desktop Publishing” (2019) is the third part of a trilogy about typesetting, published by Oak Knoll Press in August 2019. The previous books were “The history of the Linotype Company” (2014) and “History of the Phototypesetting Era” (2014).

Miranda Dee Mitrano is a graphic designer and award-winning artist, and has worked on the design of the book, plus done some copy editing and photo retouching. Also contributing to the book is Richard Romano, Frank’s son, who provides a detailed chronology of almost 100 pages.
