New flexo screen from Hamillroad Software

Continuous developments in flexo technologies have raised the print quality to much higher levels for several years now, but there is room for further improvement.

One such improvement can be down to the choice of screening technology that you use. The British software developer Hamillroad recently launched new screening technology, called Bellissima DMS, which will help flexo printers achieve print quality on a par with offset and that competes with gravure.

Hamillroad is an established supplier of prepress solutions and has specialised screening technology on the market for offset printing in the form of its Auraia DMS. This is digitally enhanced to avoid the classical problems associated with early versions of FM screening (also sometimes called stochastic screening).
