An elegant workflow from Aleyant

We have reported on some of the workflow components in this suite before, a least the solutions from the former Tucanna. In 2016 Aleyant acquired Tucanna and have since created a very interesting automated workflow, from document creation to print quality control.

Most of the solutions from Aleyant are cloud-based so accessed through a web browser and per definition suitable for networked and team-based communication and cooperation. The suite starts off with modules to facilitate document production, including variable data printing, linked to an e-commerce solution. Then there are modules for planning and estimates, with integration to MIS. The workflow continues with modules for prepress- and print management systems with integration to 3rd party RIP and workflow systems. In order to ensure a high-quality product, there are finally modules for measuring the print quality and checking that it complies to defined standards, either selected international standards like ISO 12647-2, or agreed customer defined standards.
